The City of Everyone

From Parsis, the followers of the religion of ancient Persia to the British from across the globe to the Jews of Maharashtra. Karachi has been and currently is home to several ethnicities, religious groups and minorities. The city continues to preserve its diverse architectural heritage alongside iconic sanctuaries of various religions that date as early as 514 AD. Though these sites have been neglected of their significance through years they remain an integral part of the daily Karachi.

Touring Karachi, the world's second most populous city on a weekday is not only an adventure but  a near to impossible challenge. From getting stuck in the never ending metropolis traffic, to stressing out about taking out your valuable cameras and mobile phones in streets where street crime is not very uncommon, to the beautiful and outstanding religious sanctuaries reserving rights of admission for only members of their own community.

Looking for  Karachi-lovers like myself, I came across an antidote to all the touring-Karachi-issues in the disguise of Super KarachiExpress

A click on board: by Khaula Jamil.

a city tour that simply amalgamates heritage, culture, diversity, architecture and history of the city alongside an entrancing experience of travelling in a madly painted and frantically decorated Karachi's very own Mini Bus. Behind this project is a very devoted team of passionate Karachi lovers who have made sure to give you an unforgettable experience of touring jewels of the city with peace of mind.

The four hour tour kicks off early Sunday morning from Metropole the heart of Karachi and takes you around and about the busiest areas of the city which at that hour are mostly asleep. Mosques, Churches, Temples, Jamaat Khannas, Markets, Clubs, buildings from the British Raj, monuments erected by the Parsi community... You name it! They've got it all on their itinerary for you. Security concerns? Forget them these people have got it all covered.
